Film No 1.

*** Global Shadows ***

A wild and exciting ride through an Art film about politics and religion and how globalisation promises to bring joy and happiness to all - but the truth is rather different.

The words say what we are  being told to think - but the pictures convey something different entirely.

Film No 2.

*** Micro to Macro ***

Showing how an artist's inspiration develops from seeing something interesting to photographing it to producing a finished work. This film blends the transition from the actual photographs of the tiniest lichens and patterns on bark - and from the biggest - star systems, spiral galaxies - each to its finished work, and all portrayed in a 'virtual' gallery setting.

Film No 3.

*** Light Statue ***

Something bright is moving in the woods at night. This film was made on location, very close to the artist’s home in rural West Wales.

It features a figure of light that appears to haunt the nighttime copse but the film has a disrupted timeline, slowed or reversed soundtrack and so the only story the viewer takes away is the one they brought with them.

Film No 4.

*** MudPuddle Martyrs ***

This is a stop-motion type film, and the longest in the Pat Bullen-Whatling catalogue (at about 9 minutes 21 secs). It features the beginnings of evolution, the arrival of ‘clay humans’, the discovery of religion and war and the eventual destruction of their MudPuddle world . . . all started and ended by the boot of a real human. Talk about Carbon Footprints!
