The ‘Willow Stag’ - a visitor’s photos

Art not only changes (like beauty) ‘in the eye of the beholder’ but also ‘in the eye of the storm’, in this instance the snow storms that struck Britain during the winter of 2009 / 2010.

Mr Beynon (who has already provided several beautiful images of Pat Bullen-Whatling’s work - see the previous pages) captured the image below that shows Pat Bullen-Whatling’s Willow Stag standing proudly erect under its new, white jacket.

However, Mr Beynon makes another point about this picture - something seems to be lurking in the background - and if you want further details of what he ‘believes’ he’s found please follow one of the links to his (equally entertaining) web sites shown below.

If you would like to know why Pat Bullen-Whatling’s ‘Celtic Circle’ and ‘Willow Stag’ featured for such a long time at Dinefwr Park and Castle, Llandeilo (a National Trust property) please proceed to her Awesome Autumn Week - Willow Sculpture Workshop

Our sincerest thanks, again, to Mr Beynon, for not only highlighting the changes that time and seasons have brought to Pat’s work but also for allowing her to use these photographs on her site.

‘400smilesaday’ does not just feature Pat Bullen-Whatling’s work, obviously. In fact it is a repository of great charm, beauty and, dare we say it, wisdom (complete with a smile and a wink, mind you).  It is a wonderful journal of one man’s meeting (on equal terms) with nature in general and animals; farm animals and wild animals, especially birds, with superb pictures and stories throughout!

This is the ‘sister’ web site to the above, which contains an equally wry and charming view on life in general - with many thought provoking or simply very amusing photographs.

This site features details of the ‘Willow Stag’ - above - and what Mr Beynon saw there.

Features the new ‘Postcard’ section for the ‘lookyou’ site.

This site features details of the ‘Willow Stag’ - above - and what Mr Beynon saw there.
